Rabbi Yossi Posen
Rabbi Yossi Posen was born and raised in London. He studied Talmud, Jewish Philosophy, and Jewish Law at the Sunderland Yeshiva in Gateshead UK, then advanced his studies at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Kfar Chabad Israel, while completing his Rabbinic ordination.
Following his marriage to Rivka and with their shared love for the Land of Israel, they chose Kfar Chabad as their place of residence. Whilst in Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Posen continued his studies at the Kolel for advanced Rabbinics and ran a Yeshiva program for American boys studying in Israel, before moving to the UK in August of 2019 to establish Chabad of Epping.
Mrs Rivka Posen
Mrs Rivka Posen grew up in the town of Monsey, a vibrant Jewish community in upstate New York. After completing her studies, Rivka followed her passion for education and youth and began what was to become a successful education career, teaching in local schools, doing special-ed, running summer youth programmes and other youth related activity.
Rivka’s parents run a successful Chabad Centre in Monsey, Rivka has thus been involved in communal work since early childhood.
