This year’s Chanukah party brings the joy, light and unity of the festival to life with an unforgettable afternoon full of entertainment, meaning and creativity - celebrating our beautiful community.
✨ NEW FOR THIS YEAR: The Epping Community Mural
This Chanukah invites you and your children to roll up your sleeves at the party and help bring a giant community mural to life - adding your own marks, colours and creativity to a vibrant artwork that shines with Jewish hope, light and pride. Every family becomes part of the story.
We’ve partnered with our friends at MurWalls, a world-class mural company, whose talented artists will be painting a giant 6-metre-wide mural, based on a powerful design created by a gifted Israeli artist.
The mural celebrates Jewish resilience and pride, our unity and love and that light always wins over darkness. Come join us for this unique afternoon as we show - together - that the heartbeat of Essex Jewry is alive, strong and flourishing.
At the event, children, teens and adults will all have the chance to add their own creativity: colours, symbols, words and personal touches. Your contribution becomes part of a collective artwork expressing your voice as a British Jew in 2025, our shared hopes, and the light we bring to the world.
Local - and possibly national - media will be invited to document the process, capturing this moment of unity and sharing a message of love and light.

💙 Admission
The entire celebration is free, with opportunities for suggested donations and sponsorships to help support this vibrant community event.
We keep the event free so that anyone — especially first-timers or those going through financial challenges — can join without hesitation. But the event costs thousands of pounds to run, and we have no major sponsors. We rely on your generosity to make this possible, so please give what you can, and give generously. You are bringing the event to life!
Please RSVP below for security and catering purposes, ensuring everyone has a fantastic experience.
We can’t wait to celebrate Chanukah together, create something beautiful as a community, and fill Epping with light, joy, and hope for the future.
Happy Chanukah — see you at the party!
